Write stories that people care about.   If you post someting about your community once a week you'll end up with lots of great content.   Knowing where to find the best happy hour is something lots of people care about.   When your site starts to have fresh material about things other than homes for sale you at least then have a chance of getting some regular traffic.

Just on the entrance to downtown Dexter you will find, if you're paying attention, a tiny treasure tucked back from the road called Terry B's. It feels more like you're visiting a friend's house than a restaurant/bar. The new large deck still has that fresh cut cedar smell, which by the way, you can smell all the way from the sidewalk.
